Hongkong Post attended the 22nd UPU Congress in Beijing held from August 23 to September 15. The Postmaster General attended the congress as one of the deputy heads of the PRC delegation. Hongkong Post also attended the meetings of the UPU Postal Operations Council and Council of Administration, the APPU Executive Council, the UPU Public Key Infrastructure Technical Workshop, the UPU Advanced Electronic Services Group, the UPU Policy Management Authority on Global Postal Trust Services, and the UPU Express Mail Service Project Team and Cooperative Interim Board.
