Rooftop Structures
Rooftop structures, often unauthorised, have been built on the rooftops of tenement buildings. The Buildings Department has conducted clearances of illegal rooftop structures regularly.
Rooftop dwellers are encouraged to register on the public housing Waiting List. No persons affected by the demolition of rooftop structures will be left homeless. They will be accommodated in public rental housing or interim housing according to eligibility.
