Wanda, a French-made Farman biplane, made its historic first flight over Sha Tin tidal flats on March 18, 1911. The 1997 version was built and flown by Texan Roger Freeman. Left: This Government Flying Service King Air B-200C was the first plane to touch the tarmac at Chek Lap Kok during a symbolic flight on April 30.
