LION ROCK TUNNEL
Work went ahead during the year on laying the roadway and building the ceiling__inside_the_Lion _Rock_Tunnel (above) which will connect Kowloon with the New Territories. Work also went ahead on resettlement projects and as the picture (right) shows, whole areas in Kowloon are now given over to estates—and to more people waiting for homes in yet more estates.
