The intensified search by Hong Kong businessmen for new markets abroad has strongly influenced the development of overseas postal services in recent years and direct letter mails are now sent to 68 countries, while parcel mails go to no less than 80. As in most other parts of the world the Christmas rush-shown in this picture-greatly adds to the volume.
