The Sai Ying Pun Polyclinic, opened in July 1960, provides specialist consultant services in addition to normal out-patient facilities. Built with a donation of $4,500,000 from the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club, this ultra-modern clinic serves the population of the Western District of Hong Kong Island, living in their countless tenements, and has equipment worth $1,300,000 supplied by Government.
