To bring interference-free listening to Radio Hong Kong's fast growing Chinese and English language audiences, VHF/FM transmissions were started on 1st June 1960. The 135 foot transmitting tower (above) is situated on Mt Gough. The mobile unit (below) is also fitted with VHF/FM equipment to relay sports and other outside broadcasts back to the studio.
