Messrs. J. P. Bisset & Co.'s in their Share Report for the week ending July 16th, state:-- The business for the week under review although it has been fairly vaired in regard to the numbers of different stocks dealt in, as not been large in balk. Banks-Shares have changed hands at $1,010 ex. 73. Insurance-The only business reported is in Tangtszes at $235. Shipping-No business re- ported excepting a small transaction in Preference Shanghai Tugs at Tls. 52. Docks and Wharve‹ -Shanghai Dock and Engineering Co. Shares have been placed at Tls, 75 for September. hang- hai and Hongkow Wharves. This market shows a considerable decline. It opened on the 8th instant with sales at Tls. 160, 1601 and 101 for September, on the 9th shares were placed at Tls. 160, 159) and 159 for the same date. the 10th for cash at Tls. 155 and for September at Tls. 1581 and Tls. 157. On the 12th at Tls, 156¦ and Tls, 156. Sugars No business reported. Lands-Shanghai Lands have been placed at Tla. 122. Industrial-In Cotton Stock there has been a fair business, Ewos opened on the 8th with sales at Tlɛ. 134, 134; and 135) September, on the 14th at Tls 138, 139 and 138) September. The market closes with sales at Tls. 139. Soy Chees have been placed at- Tls. 400, and Tls. 425 for cash. International Cottons at Tls. 941 September, Laou Kung Mows have been placed at Tls. 117 for September. fls. 114 for cash and Tls. 116 eptember.

Rubber Stocks. A fair number of shares changed hands in the different stocks. Dominions at Tls, 93. Tl. 10, Tls, 10] and Tls. 10. Tebongs at Tls. 151, 154, Tls. 16 cash, Tis 16 and Tls. 16.10 for September and on the 14th at Tls. 16 for cash. The market closed yesterday with a transaction for c18 at Tls. 167. A fored sale of Senawangs to place at Tls. 250. Buyers immediately offered Tls. 260, Tis. 2651, and the last business done is at Tls. 270 for cash. Shanghai Sumatras have been placed at Tls, 175 and Ïls. 178 for September. The market is easy. Maatschappij &c. in Lingkats,

Prices have can- tinued to fall steadily during the week. On the 8th the market opened with sales for cash at Tis. 1,010, and for September at Tls. 1,070, 1,060 and 1,070. On the 9th at Tls. 1,090 and 1,085 for September. On the 10th at Tls. 1,085 for On the 12th at September and 1,055 cash. Tls. 1,080 September. On the 13th at Tls. 1,950 September and on the 14th at Tls. 1,040 and Tls. 1,025 for September. Yesterday the market closed with sales at Tls. 1,030, and Tls. 1,025 for September. Miscellaneous-Astor House Hotel shares have been placed at 18. Telephones at Tle. 62) and Tls, 63. Horse Bazaars at Tls 35. Debentures-Astor Major Bros. at Tls. 52. Debentures have been placed at Tis. 104. Shang- hai Municipal 6 per cent. Debentures at Tls. 104).
