MISCELLANEOUS.-China Borneos have ad- vanced to 13 with sales and buyers, and at time of closing a sale is reported at 13.85. China Providents have further improved to 94 with buyers and only some small sales to report. Dairge, Peak Tramways, Ropes, United Asbestos and Watsons have all been placed at quotations, Union Water boa's have advanced to 11 with small sles and United Asbestos Founders shares have fand buyers at 300. Cements have been the medium of a fair business at from 8,80 to 9, closing with buyers at the latter rate.

The T.T. on London to-day is 2/41. Banks- Hongkong and Shanghai Banks. Steady with buyers at $1,000. Insurance.-North-Chinas are wanted at Tls. 104. Yangtazes at $226. Shipping. - Indos. The business for June is reported at Tls. 56 and 58, at close there are sellers at Tls, 57 for cash and Tls. 58 for June. Kochien Tugs. Shares have been placed at Tir. 46 and Tls, 47} and Shanghai Tugs ordinary at Tls. 521. There are sellers of the latter at the last rate. Docks and Wharves.-Shanghai Dock and Engineering Co, Ld. Shares have been placed at Tle. 65 cash and Tls. 88 June. Shanghai and Hongkow Wharves have been placed at Tls. 165, Tls. 188 June and Tls, 168 September. At closing cash and June shares are offering at Tls. 162 and September shares at Tls. 167; sales reported. Sugars. - -Perak Sugars have been placed at Tls 290 July, Tls. 285 and Tls. 290 cash.
