Messrs. J. P. Bisset & Co. in their Share Report for the week ending May 20th, state:- The principal feature of the market during the past week has been the rise in all Rubber Stocks Banks.-Hongkong and Shanghai Bauks. These have changed hands and are now in demand at

The market has weakened and business is reported at closing to-day-sales for June at Tls. 54. Kochien Tugs. Shares have been placed at 'l'ls. 45. Shanghai Tugs Ordinary shares at Tls. 524. There are sellers of preference at Tls. 54. Docks and Wharves. —Shanghai Dock and Engineering Co. Business is reported at TB. 86 for June, and Tls. 83 and 84 for cash, and later at Tls. 85 for June. There are buyers at the latter rate. Shanghai and Hongkew Wharves, The market is steady with sales at Tls. 168 June. The market closes with buyers. Sugars. Perak Sugars rose from Tls. 160 to Tls, 180 for cash. On the 18th Tl, 210 cash and July was done. On the 19th shares were placed at Tls. 205. At closing sales are reported at Tls. 200, Lands.-Shanghai Lands have been placed at Tis. 120 and Tls 1191. Anglo-French Lands are wanted at Tls. 103. Industrial.-In Cotton Stock. Ewos have been placed at Tls. 121 for cash and on the 14th at Tls, 121 June, On the 15th at Tls. 122 and Tls. 124 for June. On the 17th at Tls. 125 June. At the close sellers offer shares at Tls. 123 cash and Tls. 124 June. Laou Kung Mow's shares have been placed at Tls. 112 June, International Cottons at Tls. 91 June. The market for cotton Stocks is very steady. Maatschappij &c. in Langkats. The market has been quiet with a tendency early in the week to weaken. Shares were placed on the 12th at Tls. 1,190 for cash, with sales for June at Tis. 1,210 and Tls. 1,200. On the 13th cash shares were placed at Tls. 1,140. On the 15th at Tis. 1,175.
At the close sales have been affected at Tls. 1,145 for cash and buyers offer Tls. 1,160 for June. Shanghai Sumatras. Sales were effected during the week at Tls, 1421 for cash, at Tls, 144, Tls. 145 and Tls. 1441 for June. On the 19th the market remained steady. At closing there was considerable shrinkage in the market due, we believe, to the non-arrival of the usual telegram declaring sales of tobacco in Amsterdam, and shares were freely offered for September at Tls. 140. The market is now steadier with buyers at the last rate for the latter date. Kalumpong Rubbers have been freely dealt in at Tls. 150 for cash, Tls. 170 and Tls, 175 for July. At the close business have been done at Tls, 165 for cash. Tebongs. The market opened on the 14th with sales at 11 and Tls. 114. On the 15th shares were placed at Tls. 114 and Tls. 12. On the 17th at Tis. 13, 13, 13 and 14 On the 18th at Ts. 15 and Tls. 16 cash and Tls. 17 for September delivery. On the 19th at Tls. 16 for cash. At the close the market is much easier and sales are reported at Tl«. 134 and Tls, 134. Dominions. The market opened on the 12th with ales at Tis. 6 for cash. On the 14th at Tls. 7 and Tls. 6. On the 15th at Tls. 7. On the 17th at Tis. 71. Tls. 8 and Tls, 8 On the 18th at Tle, 9, Tis. 91, Tls. 94 and Tls. 10. On the 19th at Tis. 10, Tis. 10 and Tls. 94. At the close the market is weak with sellers at Tls. 9, Senawang Rubbers opened on the 13th with sales at Tls. 170 followed by sales at Tla. 175, Tls. 185, and on the 18th shares were placed at Tla, 225 for cash, and on the 19th at Tls. 220 for cash. At closing a considerable business has been done for July at Tls, 225, and for cash at Tls. 220. There are buyers at the latter rates, Miscellaneous.-Central Stores have been placed at $19. Hall and Holtz at $21. Horse Bazaars at Tis, 56. Shanghai Electric and Asbestos Co. Shares at $20. Telephones at Tls. 63.
