MISCELLANEOUS-Cements have again been done at $10, and more share are procurable at this figure. Ropes have declined to $24 sellers, and China Light and Fowers to $51 sellers. Powells are on offer at $5, and Watkins at $21. Steam Laundries can be procured at $5 ex dividend,

Messrs. J. P. Bisset & Co.'s Share Report for the week ending October 15th, state:-Our share market has not been very active during the wreek, and there is not much alteration to report. The stringency of the money market referred to last week has become lessened, and its effect has not yet been felt in our stocks. Banks.-H. & & Banks-These have advance during the week to $820. Insurance-There is no businem reported. Shipping.-There is no businem_reported. Docks & Wharves-Shanghai Dock & Engineering Co- Sellers have prevailed and the rate has declined to Tla 82 for October, with sellers at Tis. 85 for December. Shanghai & Hongkew Wharf Co- There has been practically no change sings" our last report. A fair number of shares have changed hands at Tls. 154 for cash. Bales are reported for December at Tls. 1584 and Tla. 157} closing with sellers at the latter figure. Sagars-Perak Bugar Car A few shares are on offer at Tis. 30. Mining-Chinese Engineering & Mining Co.-A transaction is reported at Tla 162 for cash. Lands-Shanghai Land Investment Co.—A good business has been done at Ta. 115 and more shares are wanted at this price. Anglo-French Land have been placed at Tis. 97. Industrial, -Ewo Cottons-Business was done in the early part of the week at Tls. 664 for October and Tls. 68 for Decembers, but the market has somewhat weakened since, the last reported transaction being at Tla. 67 for December. International Cottons. -A fair number of shares have been on the market; there are sellers for cash at Tls, 61; for December at Tls. 621, Shanghai Gas Co. have improved to Tls. 119. Maatschappdlj, etc., in Langkats-There has been hardly any busi DI QUES done and rates remain nominal at Tls. 650 for cash and Tls. 665 for December. Shanghai Sumatra Tobacco Co.-Rates have varied a good deal. For cash sales at Tis. 120 and the same rate for December. The market weakened and the last rate reported was Tls. 115 for cash and Tis. 118 for December, Shanghai Waterworks.-There are buyers at Tls. 895. Kalumpong Rubber Co.- Shares have changed hands at Tls. 61. Miscel laneous.-The rates of these various stor ks will be found below.
