Shipping.-Indo-China S. N. Co. Nothing has been done. Shanghai Tug & Lighter Co. ordinary shares are on offer at 'l'ls, 48. Preference shares still remain at Tls. 50. Docks and Wharves. Shanghai Lock and Engineering Co. Ld. The market opened at Tls. 78 for cash and has sub- sequently fallen to Tls. 76, We hear of sales for December at lls. 80. The market closes with buyers at these rates. Sugars.-There is nothing reported. Mining.-Chinese Engineering and Mining Co. Shares have advanced to Tls. 16] for cash, at which rate small lots have been dealt in. Shanghai Landa. A weaker market has prevailed and the old shares can be bought at Tls. 103. Industrial-A sale of Laou Kung Mows is re- ported at Tls, 824 September. Shanghai Gas Co, A few shares have been placed at Tls. 107). Shanghai Ices have changed hand at Tls. 17 and Ths. 16. China Flour Mill have been dealt in at Tls. 64 for May and Tls. 65) for June. Maatschappij, &c., in Langkats. A few cash shares that have been offered at Tls. 285 have all been taken. For Septemb r Tls. 291 have been done. The market closes strong. Kalumpon: Rubbers were dealt in yesterday at Tls. 29. Shanghai Sumatra Tobacco Shares have been placed at 'l'ls. 112). BANKS.-Hongkong and Shanguis bare st Il further declined, and after small unimport ant sal-s at $8890, 88571, and $-85, close with s-llers at 88371, and probable buyers at $880. London has reosded to £99. Nationals unaltered at $51,

MARINE INSURANCES.-Uuions bave ben booked at 8770, and $760, and a few shares are still for sul at the latter rate, Yangtz sare firm with probable small burers at $ 65. Cantons and North Chinas are uuchauged and without busins.

FIRE INSURANCES. Chians have improved to $8 lat which rate sales have been effected and there are further buyers. Hongkongs are procurable at the reduced rate of $325.
SHIPPING.-Hongkong, Cauton and Macios close steady at 8294, after smill sales at that rat am 3. Douglases have advanced to $40 after sales at 538) and $39. Indos are changed with a-il-rs at $71. Star Ferries are easier with sellers at $26, aud S16 for the old and new issues respectively, ex the divi ́oud of 10% for the year ending 34th April, 1997, paid yesterday. Shell Tranports have receded to 478. REFINERIES, -China Sugars have been book- ed in a sn.all way at $118, but have not reta nd their position, and are now procurable at $115. Luzous are still for sale at $21.
MINING.----Raubs are slightly firm-r with probable buyers at $64, and Charbounages can be placed at the 'improved rate of $165.

Bisset & Co.'s Shara Report are quiet with probable Layers at $18. Houg- for the week ending May 23rd, 1907, states:-kong Hotels continue on offer at $118. a good many shares in various undertakings have been dealt in at about current rates. The coming settlement for May is a small one, and hardly any liquidation for it is necessary.
