Some small sales of Hongkongs have been made at 385, and 38H cum dividend of $4 paid to day, and Chinas have been placed at SUS. Both stocks close with sellers, the former at 8312) ex div, and the lafter at 90 ex div and bonus of 88 paid to day.

SHIPPING.-Hongkong, Canton and Macaos have uled rather weaker, and after small gal at $30, close with a sale at $294, but with further buyers at the latter rate, Indos have. declined to 883 without business. Shanghai quotes Tls, 60, Small sales of Star Ferrys are reported at $30 (old). Shells have improved. with a demand from Landon, to 42 - after' com- paratively small sales at 1 and 41 6. the market closing steady. We have nothing else to report under this heading.
