SHARE REPORTS, HONGKONG, 7th April, 1905.—Business on the stockmarket has somewhat slackened during the week under review, and although a fair amount of investment funds have been handled, and a small speculative business pat through, we have nothing of any importance to report. Rates have been well maintained and in the majority of cases show improvements upon those of last weeks, which, taking into account the reported tightness of money among the Chinese, is significant.
