nothing doing, except here and there an occasional order for a few cases of special Fancies. We hear that a few orders for Greys and Whites have been transmitted to Manchester but the limita were quite impracticable. There has been a little enquiry from Tientsin and a few sales are reported to have been made, but the quantities are woefully small. Further advances are reported in Cotton, the latest quotations being 6.72d. for Mid-American and 91d. for Egyptian, The Liverpool market is flat, with Manchester quiet.
