FIRE INSURANCES.-Hougkongs remain on offer at $377), whilst buyers refuse to pay over $305. Chinas hrve changed hands at 882 and close with self rs at that rate.· ́
SHIPPING -- Hongkong, Canton and Mucaos have ruled, steady with small sales-nt_836] aud· reported transactions at 836), market clos ng with sellers at the former and buyers at the latter rate. Douglases have been enquired for at $434 without leading to business. Indos continue erractic with sales from $10 to $110 for eash and from 8110 to $112 for June,Star Ferries have changed hands in small lots at quotations.
