Our London correspondent telegraphed on :-"A circular has been issued to the 12th May :- the shareholders of the China Mutual Steam

Navigation Company, stating that the dire tors have received an offer to purchase all issued shares of the Company at £529,991, the purchaser acquiring control of the business with- out taking over the Company's premises, staff, employees, or agents."
