SHARE REPORT.
HONGKONG, 28th February.-A little more activity has been noticeable in our market dur- ing the past week, but the business transacted has been confined mostly to the smaller stocks, and there is still but little attention being paid to the more important lines.
BANKS-Hongkong and Shanghais have continued dull with a sm`ll sale at the reduced rate of $597, at which there are further sellers. Nationals are unchanged.
MARINE INSURANCES.-Unions have sold and are wanted at $355. China Traders are obtainable at $56. Yangtszes have been booked at $134. Cantons are wanted at $157.
FIRE INSURANCES.-Hongkongs continue on offer at $3973. Chinas are obtainable at $90.

SHIPPING. Hongkong, Canton and Macaos have sold and are in further request at $37. Indos have been placed and are still obtainable at $140. China Manilas continue on offer at $50 and a lower rate. would probably be accepted. The new issue can be obtained at $5. Douglases can be procured at $43. China Mutual preference shares are wanted. ot £10. 1's Od.; ordinaries are to be had at £5, and ordinary bonus shares at £7. 10s. I d. Star Ferrios (old) have sold at $24, and the new shares can be obtained at $9.
REFINERIES. — -China Sugars have sold at $143 down to $140 and are obtainable at the lower rate. Luzons are to be had at $35.
MINING. Punjoms are obtainable at $43. Charbonnages continue in request at $525. Raubs can be placed at $9.
DOCKS, WHARves and Godowns-Hong kong and Whampoa Docks have declined to $265 ex the dividend and bonus of $9 per share paid on the 25th instant, with sellers, and sales reported at $260 to $262), and a small item at $265. Hongkong and Kowloon Wharves have receded to $96 with sellers. Docks are still wanted at $30.

LANDS, HOTELS AND BUILDINGS.-Hong- kong Lands have sold at $179 and $18, and there are further sellers at the higher rate. Kowloon Lands are offering at $31, and West Points at $60. Humphreys Estates have sold in fair quantities at $12) $12 and $12.65 and a demand continues. Hongkong Hotels have been booked at $134. Criente Hotels are offer- ing at the reduced rate of $50.
COTTON MILLS.-The only change we have to report is in Hongkong Cottons, which have been booked at $141.
Cements
MISCELLANEOUS.-Green Island have been placed at $214, and are now in request at $214. Electrics are quiet at $13} (old) and $61 (new). Ropes are offering at $160. Ices and Tramways continue in demand at $212) and $330 respectively. Fenwicks are quiet at $45, and Bakeries at the same figure. United Asbestos (ordinary) are obtainable at $10, and the Founders shares are wanted at $125. China Providents have sold at $9.30 and more shares are obtainable.
