Mortgages. From the reports and valuations made by the company's surveyors, the general managers and consulting committee are satisfied that the properties held by the company form ample security for the advances made.

CONSULTING COMMITTEE.

Mr. Lewis and Mr. Mackay having resigned, Messrs. H. P. White and A. Ross were nomin- sted for the vacant seats, and these appoint- meats require the confirmation of shareholders. The present members, the Hon. C. P. Chater, C.M G., Messrs. Raymond, Maitland, White and Ross, retire, but offer themselves for re- election.

AUDITORES.

The accounts have been audited by Messrs. C. W. Hutton Putts and R. Chatterton Wilcox, the latter acting in the place of Mr. Fullarton Henderson owing to his indisposition, and the re-election of Messrs. Potts and Henderson is recommended.
