HONGKONG, 27th September.-The freight mar- Fet continues dull, with very little demand for tonnage, Saigon to Hongkong, 18 cents per picul nominal; to Philippines. 35 cents; to Java, 32 cents last. Bangkok to this, 30 and 25 cents per picul. Newchwang to Canton, 30 cents per picul for second half October loading. Japan coal freights. Moji to this, $2.15, to Singapore $2 75 per ton. Miroran to Hongkong, $3.00 per ton. Sailing vessels. The American ship State of Maine, 1,467 tons net reg., has been chartered to load here for New York, rate private.
