SHANGHAI, 1 th July, -(From Mesars. J. P. | Bisset & Co.'s Report).-'l'he business of the week has been small, although better than that of the previous week, Banks-Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation.-An advance in Hongkong caused an improvement her, and cash shares were plaed to Hongkong ut 335 per cent. premium with exchange 7%, and changed handa locally at 800 per cent. premium, and exchange 73.

Marine Insurance.-Unions changed hands. locally at $235. Yangtazes might be procured at $110. Braits are still wanted. Fire Insurance.— No local business reported. Chinas were sold in Hongkong at $89, and are wanted there are at 48830 Sugars. No local business is reported under this head. Mining.-Sheridan C. M. & M. shares were sold at Tis, 4, and are wanted, at per- haps a point better. Punjom Mining shares were sold to Hongkong at $15, and Olivers Freehold Mines shares at $34. Docks, Wharves and Godowns.-Business has been done in S. C. Farn- ham & Co. shares at Tls. 195. Shanghai Dook abares changed bands, Ordinary at Tls. 100 cash and Ts. 101 for the 31st. current, Preference ut Tis, 110. New juoy Dock shares were sold at $151. Shangbai & Hongkow Wharf shares were Bold at irregular rates, Ts. 190 and 185 cash. Tis. 187 for August, Tls. 190 and 193 for Sep- tember, l'ls. 1921 for October and Tla. 195 -for November. Hongkong & Kowloon Wharf & Go- down shares were sold to Hongkong at 895, and purchased thence at $96. Lande.-Shanghai Land Inzestment shares were placed at Tls. 82.75 ex div. which is equal to Tis. 85 cum div. An interim dividend of 44 per cent. bas heen declared, payable on the 17th current. Kowloon Land and Building shares were sold to Hongkong at $801. Industrial.-Shang ia Gas shares were sold at Tis. 195 cum the dividend of Tls, 6 payable o.. the 18th current. International Cotton Milshares changed hands at Tls. 65, Lan-Kung-Mows at Ti 75 and Yah Longs at Tla. 50. Shanghai Le shares were placed at ils. 35. Tugs and Cargo Boats-Shanghai Cargo Boat shares were plaived at Tls. 175, and o-operative shares at ส. lib. Miscellaneous-Shanghai-Langkat Tobaccco shares are wanted. Hall and Hotz shares were sold at $36. Loans.-Chinese Imperial Government. E Loan Bonds are wanted at T250. Shanghai Land 51 per cent. Deben- tures were placed at Tls. 95, Shanghai Gas 6 per cent. at par, and Sanghai-Sumatra Tobacco 8 per cent at par,
