PRESENTATION OF PRIZES.
--
The prizes won at the annual regatta were presented on Saturday, 11th December, by Mrs.. W. C. H. Hastings at the Victoria Recreation Club. Commander Hastings remarked that good weather had favoured the regatta and there was an increase in the number of entries. It was curious to note that a family usually swept the board at the sporting meetings.

In re- turning thanks Commodore Holland remarked that the navy had been most pleasantly associ- ated with the Victoria Recreation Club, the re- sult being that a larger number of men-of-war's boats competed. He trusted the friendship be- tween the navy and Club would always con- tinue.
