Shanghai, 21st January (From Messrs. Noël Murray & Co.'s Piece Goods Trade Report) Goods. We have still to report a quiet with little or nothing doing in spot car only a comparatively small business pa forward delivery. Of the latter, demand to be still running on 10-lb. Grey Shirtin u few lines of 8.4lb. Grey Shirtings Shirtings, and T.-Cloths have also been plic for arrival. Advices from Manchester show the market there to be easie:, but even this does not appear to tempt dealers, who, apart from the near approach of China New Year, are not in- clined to commit themselves to firm offers of any extent, as they lean to the belief that Manchester prices may still be tower. The New York market is reported irreglar with a tendency towards casier prices. There is practically nothing to write about the Northern markets as no news of them have been recived, but the Hankow and

·Ningpo markets continue in a 'satisfactory states
