Back to the motion of the debate in. question, one can say, at a glance of the topic, that it is neither practical nor practicable to require all persons, over the age of eighteen to give blood once a year. Why? Question 5 is a topic requiring an expositional essay. Note that it is a very personal essay - what applies to you may not be right for others. You have your own likes and dislike. But in all cases, support your choices, likes and dislikes with reasons. Don't give your
examiners an impression that you act on impulses or some misconceptions or prejudice. Otherwise it is a simple question.
On the whole, this year's paper is. neither too easy nor too difficult. Again, a "picture composition" was set in Question 1, as in last year's paper. Candidates are better psychologically prepared for it than were last year. The other questions are uiremarkable.
