A description is a picture of ob- jects or ideas. It may be practi-

cal or artistic, subjective or ob- jective. The way a description is. written can be as varied as the way a picture is painted: aketch, waterm

Unlike a practical descrip- tion, an artistio description re- sembles an oil painting which, with a few symbolic features, relies heavily on the reader's imagination. and understanding. This type of writing includes all the literary works, prose, poetry, or drama. Examples of Practical Description: 71. A neutron star, commonly known
