The Future Tenses T. The Simple Future Tense is

formed by using the axillaries

will and shall + the infinitive and is used to express futurity

(i) "shall" is used for the

"first persen" to express

determination or resolution.

e.g. I shall play the piano

whenever I like.

I shall be home this week-end.

(ii) "will is

s generally used for all other persons to express futurity.108
