A working definition of a
paragraph is a group of closely related sentences forming a single part of a larger topic. An essay may contain three or more paragra- phay and each should follow the other in an orderly and clear se- quence; and, together they should contribute to the formation of the whole essay.
Many. students have asked about the mumber of paragraphs. air essay should contain. Well, there is no definite answer--- it depends. on the length, time, quantity and quality of the materials, It is w fall a matter of self-judgment...
However, if we consider the coim ditions under which an examination essay is written, I would say an average candidate can write 4-5 paragraphs, consisting of 400 wors
