The Membranous Labyrinth consists of a large chamber called). the "UTRICULUS" which is connected by a narrow opening with a smaller chamber called the "SACCULUS". At one end of the. tion. These vibratrations are transmitted by the Malleus,/ Incus and Stapes to the Oval Window.

2.The vibrations from the Oval Window set the Peri-lymph into vibrations. These are conducted through the membranous walls of the Cochlea and the Eudolymph is set into vibration." Different parts of the "Organ of Cortin (nervamenddnge patruding into the Endolymph from the' Basilar Membrane of Scala Media) are set into sympathetic vibrations according to the frequency involved and these stimulations send impulses through the Auditory Nerve to the Auditory Region of. the Bradi and we hear. sound.;
