The general aims of trus education should be to develop the studente intellectually, physically, socially and morally so thau they may become good citizens of the community,

Intellectually the pupil is developed by being taught how

to resson and think for himself and to work and this should be the aim in the different subjects he is taught. The students are alive, and the purpose of education is to stimulate and guide, their self-development: Let the students themselves experience the joy of discovery.

The student is developed physically by physical training and game. Teach them how to make use of their leisure hours brofitably by taking part in place of more formal activities.

He is developed socially first by being giveri a basic education so that he la fitted to earn his living after leaving school. Secondly he is developed by being taught his rights and duties as regards his parents and family and as a citizen in which he lives.

Finally, education is the development of personality of an individual. It teaches us what is right and what is wrong. It removes ignorance. It makes people more broad-minded and helps to make peoples of the world to live in harmony. preserves cultural heritage. Culture is activity of thought

subsidized places in selected private schools, for 15 to: 20 per cent of all primary school leavers.
