The hot deserts in the world are the Sanara Desert, the Thar Desert, the Arizona, Desert, the Atacama Desert, the Kalahari Desert, the West Australian Desert. They arelying on the Tronics due to the following reasons. W

June in the Northern Hemisphere and in December in the Southern Hemisphere. When the aun

is vertically overhead, the amount of heat given to the land is intense. This explaina why the temperature is so high in summer, Equatorial regions are cooler because the heat is greatly reduced by the clouds and the rain.

2. The hot deserts are all'situated on the western margins of the continents or extending from the western margin to the middle of the continent. Between latitudes 20 and 30", there is the high pressure belt, and the dry trade winda prevail. These winds blow from the north-east in the Northern Hemisphere and, from the south-east in the Southern Hemisphere As they blow from the land to the sea, they are dry winds, and will not bring any rain to the deserts. This explains why the rainfall is so low

As the sky is very clear, the day temperatures! are high and the night temperatures are low, causing rapid expansion and contraction of rocka which result in breaking up of large boulders into small pieces.
