The Second Article: ....after presenting numerous follies, nonsense and meaningless images, it went further to bring sex and pornography onto the stage. A lot of description about sex, names of the sex organs and actions imitating sexual intercourse. Prayers and blessings were mixed up with anal sex, and indecency, privacy and taboos were linked with teaching and religion. The actors had no stage experience. Most of them were students
The Third Article:
The Fourth Article:
4. the programme made indiscriminate use or ever overuse of the term ‘banana'. Many scenes were so daring and revealing that the audience felt uneasy and embarrassed. ..The numerous suggestive scenes and sex gadgets in the drama left the audience dumbsounded ..... in the drama, the actors employed all sorts of 'communication media' such as words, sounds and actions to portray sexual intercourse. Mr. Chairman, the above were some of the comments on the content of a programme organized by the Council with public funds. The programme was staged as many as 9 times in the Cultural Centre. Among the audience, many were junior secondary students. I have no intention whatsoever to interfere with the freedom of artistic creation or freedom of expression, nor do I intend to censor any form of arts work. Neither do I want to hinder the promotion of
