If this application is approved, I hereby undertake on behalf of

on demand by the Council, all charges and additional charges arising from the hirin and to meet the cost of repairing any damage caused and of repairing or reinstating replacing any equipment, apparatus, fitting, facility or other property damaged destroyed (fair wear and tear excepted), stolen or removed during this function.
I agree to indemnify the Council, in respect of any death, injury, loss or dama which may occur in the Ground during the period of hire.
Approval is hereby given for you to use the abovementioned ground (and the use of athletic equipment (6) public address system (c) electronic scoreboards and training equipment) during the abovementioned period of hire.
You must not charge for admission of spectators. If it is discovered that you make such a charge without the prior approval of the Urban Council in writing, the Urban Council will reserve the right to demand for a payment of hiring charge which is equivalent to
10% of the estimated gross receipts of admission fees and 10% of the assessed value of any commercial sponsorship
whichever is the greater.
There is a kiosk at the ground for the sale of light refreshments. The operator has the sale franchise and no items of light refreshment may be brought into the ground for resale.
Non competitors must remain on the spectator stands.
ONLY 5-9 mm SPIKES OR RUBBER SHOES ARE ALLOWED ON THE TRACK. PERSONS WEARING LONGER SPIKES WILL BE REFUSED ACCESS.
If you are unable to take up this booking, please notify this office as early as possible. I regret that refund of charges (paid under Demand Note No.
) will not be possible unless a written notice is received not less than 14 days prior to the date of hire.
Due to typhoon or other unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to cancel your booking without giving you any notice. If this happens, a refund of charges will be made and a mutually acceptable alternative date will as far as possible be arranged.
