Diploma in Public Health Inspection for General Overseas Appointments, Royal Society of Health. 75 Student Health Inspectors per annum. Diploma for Inspectors of Meat and Other Foods, Royal Society of Health. 25-50 Health Inspectors per annum. Testamur of the Institute of Solid Wastes Management, London. 25 Health Inspectors per annum.Overseas Training
Diploma in Development Administration/Management 5 Officers will be fully trained by 1978-79; 3 have already completed the 10 month course at Leeds University, and 1 more will be going this year. Health Education 10 Officers will be sent overseas by 1980-81 to receive training for this diploma. Cemeteries and Crematoria 6 Officers will be sent abroad over the next 5 years for a 1-month attachment to overseas authorities in modern crematoria and cemeteries. Noise Control It is proposed to establish a team of 7 noise experts who will undergo advanced training in noise control at a 10-month course followed by a 3-month part-time attachment. Cleansing 10 experienced Officers are to be sent on a 3-month course to study advanced techniques in public cleansing operations and management by 1980-81. Food Hygiene 10 Officers will also be sent by 1980-81 to undertake further training in food technology. Slaughtering 1 Health Inspector at a Master Butcher will be sent abroad during 1978-79 on an attachment to receive training in slaughtering methods and butchery techniques.Appendix I
