HONG KONG URBAN COUNCIL
As Members are aware the Urban Council became the licensing authority for all places of public entertainment as from 1st April, 1973, Section 4(a) of the Places of Public Entertainment Ordinance gives special provision to exempt the Council from licensing its own establishment.
The purpose of the Motion is to designate such establishments as places of public entertainment.
