HONG KONG URBAN COUNCIL
CHAIRMAN:-Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank the Unofficial Members for all the thought they have put into their speeches for this debate. Some old and some new matters have been raised. Where old matters have come up again, this indicates Members' determination to do all they can to ensure that their proposals are pursued to a successful conclusion. Many of the new matters will deserve serious consideration. Official Colleagues and I will now set about preparing our replies. To give us time to do this, it has already been agreed by Standing Committee that this debate should be adjourned till the next regular meeting of this Council. This will be held on 23rd December at 2.30 p.m. and I now suggest that the debate be adjourned accordingly.
