HEAD 79-URBAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT

HONG KONG URBAN COUNCIL
Before I sit down, I must express pleasure at Brook's recovery, both physically and politically, (Laughter) and I would like to wish him many more years of good health and able advocacy. Finally, I must express my admiration for our imperturbable Chairman, whom, through the years that he has occupied the chair, I have never seen at a loss. (Laughter). To you all, thank you very much indeed. I am genuinely sorry to leave this Council. My only consolation is: no more 8.45 a.m. meetings. (Laughter) (Applause).
ADJOURNMENT
5.54 P.M.
CHAIRMAN: That concludes the business of this meeting. Council stands adjourned until Tuesday, 6th April, 1965.
