The proposed statement of United Nations peace aims in Korea will probably be issued by President Truman on behalf of the unified United Nations command when it has been approved by all the Governments involved, officials stated today, The United States Government has already invited those United Nations with troops fighting in the Korean war to submit comments on a draft statement prepared by the United States outlining the United Nations objectives in the Korean fight- ing, giving an indication how peace can honourably be restored to that area.
