MYSTERY OF THE Priests' Seized

COSMIC RAYS MAY YET BE SOLVED

Washington, Jan. 2.

The mystery of where cosmic rays come from may be solved. The National Geographic Society reported strong evidence that the energy packed particles originate not in the far reaches of the outer space,

as previously supposed, but in the

.sun.

If this is confirmed it means that in addition to being the nuclear power house that supplies the earth with heat and light, the sun also is a gigantic arsenal of sub-atomic projectiles which bombard the earth in a never ending barrage.
