To Avoid Friction In Antarctic

London, Nov 20. Britain, the Argentine and Chile

have agreed to extend their agreement, restricting the movement of warships in the Antarctic to avoid "friction" in the arca.

Today's announcement by the Foreign Office in London said that it had been agreed that no naval vessels would be sent south of Latitude 60 degrees ex- cept on customary naval move- ments. Reuter.

The official Albanian_news_ agency charged Yugoslavia today with "violating the Albanian border ceven times between November 7 and 12," the East German news agency, ADN, re- ported tonight.

ADN said that in six of these cases Yugoslav illegally crossed Albanian territory. It gave no

The West German Social Democratic Party today hailed its big victories in the Hesse and Wuerttemberg-Baden Parliamen- tary elections yesterday as important evidence of public backing for its “tempor- ary non-agreement to rearmament.”

Dr Kurt Schumacher, the Party leader, told Reuter in Munich that the electors of these two American Zone states had moved to the left be- cause of the attitude of the West German Federal Chancellor, Dr Konrad Adenauer's, right-wing Coalition Government over the rearmament issue.
