Radio Hongkong will broadcast a

TELEGRAPH

FEATURE

Ceremony Of New

To Be Broadcast

the recorded commentary on opening ceremony of the new Queen's College at Causeway Bay. This will be on the air on Friday from 9.11 p.m. The commentary, which will last about 15 to 20 minutes, will be by Norman Tucker.

On Wednesday, from 9.11 p.m. Louis Mac- | Lombr Neice's allegory in verse, "The Dark Tower," will be broadcast. The theme is that of the eternal quest and in the play the principal character, Roland, is the last of a family whose menfolk are doomed, one after the other, to set out on a quest Ples-London from which there is no return.

Tonight, at 9:30 p.m., Radio Hongkong presents a rather unusual operette. Entitled "The Bateman'ı Bride" or "The Man Who Bowled The Maiden Over," it was written by the Headmaster of Rydal School, Colwyn Bay, Walce, for his boys to performt. He was persuaded to tend it to the BBC, who ac. cepted it.
