Singapore, Apr. 17.-The 84th Squadron of RAF Brigand Fighters soared into action over Malaya for the first time today as Lieutenant- General Sir Harold Rawdon Briggs' "War Cabinet" took over direction of anti-terrorist operations.

General Briggs, who arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Federation capital, 12 days ago, denied at a press conference there that he lacked sufficient police, army, navy and air force groups to meet the situation, but he warned against impatience, against "waiting for us to do something."
