Agreement Ends Two Months' Deadlock
Washington, Jan. 24.—The United States and Britain have agreed on arrangements for the transfer of American arms to Britain under the military assistance programme. The accord broke a two-month deadlock.
A British Endassy spokesman said last night that all basic differences had been settled and the last few drafting changes would probably be made tomorrow. Britain is expected to sign on Friday and other nations at about the same time.
