SPENT a large part of a week recently with the man most qualified to speak of Nazi Germany's Eccret, diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union- in the time when they were friends and in the time when they became enemies again.

The man is Dr Peter von Kleist, a German and a former official of Ribbentrop's Foreign Office. He had the diplomatic rank of Minister Extraordinary.

To some this fact may prejudice everything he has to sny. In my view, however, his unique experience makes him a voice worth hearing.
