SHIPPING PROVISION
Washington, Dec. 6-Economic Co-operation Administration officials, here disclosed today that seven European countries had been asked to re- fund a total of $30,000,000 in Marshall Plan funds because they failed to ship 50 percent of assistance goods in American-owned ships.
The countries involved are France, Britain, the Netherlands, the Belgian-Luxembourg Union, Sweden, Eire and Denmark.
ECA officials said that the money refunded would be used to purchase additional Marshall Plan goods for the countries concerned, ̈ ̈ ̈ ̈ ̈*
