FATAL TRAIN. CRASH—A train crash which completely demolished a car, flinging it some 1,000 feet along the track at Oceanside, New York, killed Mrs Catherine Braemer, the driver. The woman had just taken her own child and a schoolmate to school, and was returning when the crash occurred. Two men pulled

her out of the car which then burned.

Actress Caren Marsh is "recuperating in Holly. wood, California, from the injuries she suffered in a plane crash last July which took 36 lives. She keeps busy around the house with the aid of crutches, and is suing the airline company for U.S.$100,000 for hos- pital bills and time lost from shows in which she was scheduled to appear.

GAS TRUCK BURNS-A spark of electricity set off this explosion which burned up 2,700 gallons of gasoline in a U.S.$200,000 fire in Eddington, Pennsylvanin. It started when gas was being pumped into the ground. Fire fighters get in as close as they can to bring the fire under control.

HELP YOURSELF — Hundreds of pounds of honey- comb are believed to be in the walls of this house at Kreidersville, Pennsylvania. Constance Sterner points to only part of the comb. Her parents were forced to vacate the bedroom which the bees have been using as a hive for the last 18 years. Fortunately, the bees haven't shown any interest in the rest of the house.
