MERCY PLANE DEMOLISHED-While on an errand of mercy, this Canadian Air Force plane crashed near Norway House, Manitoba. It carried 13 passengers and seven crew members, all of whom were killed, including seven polio-stricken Eskimos being flown to a hospital. Lying at the end of the 600-foot swath the doomed plane cut through the trees is the largest single remaining plece of the amphibious
aircraft.
