Kacz- Manchester, July 12.-Marian marek, 40-year-old former Polish artillery officer, was sentenced to three years' imprison- ment at Manchester today after being found guilty of spying on Britain and the American Air Force for a foreign power.

He was charged with eight counts under the British Official Secrets Act.

The maximum sentence which could have been passed was 14 years.
