London, May 2.-The British Govern- ment told Parliament today that it would oppose any move to include Spain-"with her present regime" in the Council of Europe, the Organisation for European Economic Co- operation, the Atlantic Pact or the United Nations.

Mr Christopher Mayhew, the Parliamen- tary Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, said in reply to a question: "So far as we are aware no proposals to rescind the recom- mendation of the United Nations Assembly of December 12, 1946, have yet been before the present meeting of the United Nations.
