AMERICAN DISASTER-Rescue party workers search the ruins of an American Skymaster near Garstang, Lancashire. Six persons, all U.S. milltary personnel, were killed when the plane crashed in flames. Though the fuselage remained comparatively intact, the wreckage was strewn over a large arca.
