The arrested Communist. Deputy was M. Raymond Dispy, a former Minister without Portfolio.

Brussels police said 60 people were taken into custody during the demonstrations, which occurred in front of the Bourse, but that all were released after the meeting ended.

Earlier, Communists had shouted "Down with Churchill". as Britain's wartime Prime Min- ister appeared on the steps of the Stock Ex- change to address a crowd of some 8,000 people on the subject of European unity, but their cries. by the thunderous were quickly drowned cheers of the crowd.
